Avitrol Plus Liquid Bird Wormer 100 mL

Avitrol Plus Praziquantel Bird Wormer Syrup Concentrate is an oral worming treatment for ornamental cage birds. It is labelled for the treatment of threadworm (Capillaria spp.), caecal worm (Heterakis spp.), roundworm (Ascaridia spp.), gape worm (Syngamus spp.), gizzard worm (Acuaria spp.) and tapeworm (Raillietina spp.).

Active constituents: 10 mg/mL levamisole hydrochloride, equivalent to 8.48 mg/mL levamisole base, and 2 mg/mL praziquantel.

Directions: Dilute 0.5 mL (12 drops from the supplied dropper) in 20 mL of water. Use as the sole source of drinking water for 24 hours and administer two doses 14 days apart. Prepare fresh medicated water before dosing and discard after 24 hours. Further dilution may be required in hot weather.

Important: Not for birds intended for human consumption. Not recommended for Gouldian finches. Parrots and finches may be less tolerant to levamisole than pigeons; follow the complete package directions and consult a veterinarian when required.
